Currently we are looking for a highly qualified Deputy Marketing and Communication Manager. In this role, you´ll support the Marketing and Communication Director, performing as a PMO in planning and supervising marketing initiatives, ensuring seamless coordination across teams and projects. This role helps maintain brand consistency, oversees specific campaigns, and facilitates communication between departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing & Communications Strategy

  • Assist the Marketing & Communications Director in developing and implementing the company’s integrated marketing and communication strategy, aligning it with overall business goals.
  • Manage the execution of campaigns to enhance brand positioning, customer engagement, and market presence.
  • Oversee the development and dissemination of multi-channel content, including social media, digital marketing, PR, and corporate communications.
  • Work closely with Cluster and Regional Communications and Marketing Leads to align messaging, communications, and marketing plans.
  • Create targeted marketing campaigns to increase traffic.

Project Management (PMO Focus)

  • Act as a liaison between the Marketing team and cross-functional departments, ensuring that projects are prioritized, tracked, and delivered efficiently.
  • Develop and implement PMO frameworks to manage multiple marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with key milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Conduct project planning, risk assessment, and resource allocation to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery of marketing campaigns.
  • Regularly monitor project progress and generate reports to provide updates to senior leadership on campaign performance and project health.

Stakeholder and Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with sales, product, and other internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and marketing alignment.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including agencies, vendors, and media partners.

Brand and Corporate Communications

  • Support brand management efforts, ensuring consistent brand messaging across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Oversee internal communications initiatives to enhance employee engagement and strengthen corporate culture.

Performance Measurement and Reporting

  • Analyze marketing campaign performance, develop KPIs, and create dashboards to track and report results to senior leadership.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to optimize marketing ROI and improve future campaign performance.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field. Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline is a plus.
  • Project management certification is highly desirable.
  • 7+ years of experience in Marketing and Communications, with at least 2 years in a PMO or project management role.
  • Strong background in digital marketing, content creation, and multi-channel campaign management.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Portuguese and English, both written and verbal, with a talent for storytelling and brand messaging. French is a plus.
  • Experience in event management, from planning to execution, with an understanding of logistics, budgeting, and client relations.
  • Proficiency in analyzing marketing performance data and generating actionable insights.
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with suppliers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing tools such as CRM platforms, social media management tools, and content management systems.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop and execute innovative marketing ideas.
  • Proactive, with excellent problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
  • Ability to align marketing strategies with business objectives.
  • Strong knowledge of PMO tools, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work across functions and cultures.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Must have Angolan nationality.
