Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist/Headhunter

About The Position

Reporting to the TA Manager, you'll be the Senior Recruiter in Angola, you´ll partner closely with business and HR leaders as we grow rapidly. You’ll play a key role in attracting and hiring top-tier talent to support our growing construction projects. From Project Managers to Supervisors, you’ll help build the teams that bring our projects to life. In this role, we're looking for a real expert, with solid headhunting skills.

Here are some of the things you'll need to do:

  • Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person interviews.
  • Use multiple sources to identify passive talent for an ever-growing organization.
  • Build and nourish talent pipelines.
  • Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position's requirements.
  • Keep data and reporting on recruitment activity visible and transparent so we can make effective decisions quickly.
  • Play a big role in our TA team as we continue to evolve and adapt how we recruit - we are always looking to improve our processes, our approach, and our skills as a team.
  • Be the trusted advisor of our hiring managers and senior leaders to give them insight, guidance and informed choices about our hiring strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related areas.
  • At least 6 years of experience in a talent acquisition focused role where hiring for the construction sector has been the focus.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter) and HR databases.
  • Expertise in direct sourcing and passive candidate engagement.
  • A natural networker who thrives on relationship-building.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Ability to conduct structured and behavioral interviews.
  • Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to juggle multiple requisitions.
  • Collaborates effectively with hiring managers and department leaders.
  • Great communicator who can influence a diverse stakeholder.
  • Proficiency in Portuguese and English (spoken & written).
  • Angolan nationality.
