Project
challenges

Angola’s technical education system faced significant challenges, including outdated curricula, insufficient teacher training, and a lack of modern equipment. These limitations hindered the ability of schools to produce graduates with the skills needed by the labor market. Additionally, many schools required substantial rehabilitation to create conducive learning environments for technical and vocational education.

Our solution

Mitrelli Education sector redesigned the curricula for basic and intermediate technical education, integrating updated methodologies and industry standards. The project included supplying high-end general and technical equipment, rehabilitating and equipping IT infrastructure, and providing extensive teacher training. These initiatives spanned three key professional areas: Industry, Management and Services, and Health, Agriculture, Fishing, and Food Industry.
Mitrelli Education sector ensured the provision of advanced tools, relevant educational content, and hands-on teacher training to support sustainable skill development.

Mitrelli Education Sector designed and implemented the project on the ground, with a comprehensive approach that included:

  • Rehabilitating 52 schools to improve infrastructure and learning environments.
  • Redesigning curricula to align with modern educational standards and labor market needs.
  • Introducing advanced didactic elements to enhance teaching methodologies.
  • Supplying high-quality general, technical, and IT equipment to support education and training.
  • Training 10,000 teachers across three main professional areas:

This initiative impacted 100,000 graduates by providing quality education and technical skills, aligning schools with labor market demands to ensure the development of a highly skilled workforce.
