Graduation of the students and the Music Show – “Origins”
On dec, 23. more than 450 children and young people received certificates for taking part in the artistic training courses at the Art and Culture Foundation’s School of Arts.
Among them, 14 were awarded certificates of merit, accompanied by gifts as an incentive and recognition for demonstrating exemplary values or serving as a mirror for the other students. The certificates were awarded by the FAC board and the Menomadin board.
The closing ceremony of the students’ artistic training year was also intended to highlight the learning and achievements of the children and young people in the community over the course of the training year. This celebration, held in the form of a musical theater, highlighted how their contributions enrich the cultural scene of Luanda Island and Angola.
Christmas Dinner for foster children
For more than 8 years, the Art and Culture Foundation has welcomed 150 children and young teenagers from different foster homes in Luanda. They are treated to a spectacular performance, a pampering dinner (served by more than 50 volunteers – locals and expats) and Christmas presents for everyone.
Thanks to the generosity of friends, partner organizations, employees and volunteers, it was possible to carry out this beautiful tradition of the Art and Culture Foundation.
