Cabinda Province faces significant housing challenges, with many residents living in informal settlements lacking essential public services such as clean water, electricity, and proper sanitation. In response, the government has initiated ambitious projects to deliver thousands of new housing units aimed at improving living conditions and addressing the enduring housing deficit.
However, Cabinda’s geographical isolation from the mainland presents considerable logistical challenges, including the transportation of materials and equipment, further complicated by the region’s limited access to durable building resources.
Our solution
Mitrelli’s expertise in developing the centrality model proved essential in addressing the logistical challenges posed by Cabinda’s geographical isolation and limited access to durable building materials. The delivery and installation of specialized equipment for large-scale infrastructure required meticulous planning and coordination to overcome barriers of limited connectivity and access.
The solution involved implementing sustainable and low-maintenance technologies, forging strategic partnerships with local suppliers, and providing training to regional teams to enhance project efficiency.
