In Senegal, Focus Education, Mitrelli Group’s Educational and Professional Training subsidiary, celebrated yesterday the cornerstone ceremony for the establishment of 23 new innovative and state-of-the-art vocational training centers.
The centers are aimed to provide in-demand skills to dramatically increase employment rates, promote access to the labor market and create opportunities for rapid socio-economic integration for young graduates all over Senegal.
The goal of the project is to contribute to the country’s development by increasing the employability of qualified young professionals.
The Senegalese Minister of Urban Planning, Housing and Public Hygiene Mr. Abdoulaye Saydou Sow, Mayor of Kaffrine along with the Minister of Employment, Vocational Training, Apprenticeship and Integration, Mr. Dame Diop, and Mr. Efraim Meslet, Country Director of the Mitrelli Group in Senegal announced the creation of these new centers, which will benefit up to 30,000 young adults every year.
