challenges
Angola’s growing population and increasing healthcare demands required urgent improvements in medical infrastructure, particularly in underserved regions. Limited healthcare access meant that residents often had to travel long distances for specialized treatment, making timely medical care difficult to obtain. The absence of modern medical facilities further restricted the ability to provide high-quality healthcare, creating a pressing need for upgraded infrastructure. Additionally, logistical and technical challenges, such as ensuring reliable energy and water supply, had to be addressed to ensure the successful execution of the project.
Our solution
To address these challenges, Mitrelli Healthcare led the development of three modern hospitals in Bengo, Cuanza Sul, and Cuanza Norte, strengthening Angola’s healthcare network. Each hospital was designed as a fully integrated medical facility, equipped with advanced technology, multiple specialized clinical areas, and high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic services. Beyond infrastructure, a focus on professional training ensures the sustainability of healthcare services, empowering medical staff with the skills to deliver top-tier patient care. These hospitals operational,management and clinical effiency are enhanced through the integration of an Health Information System.These hospitals now serve as vital healthcare hubs, significantly improving medical accessibility and response capacity in their respective regions
